History

Austin Beekman purchased the original orchard in 1950. He and his son, C. Wayne, expanded the orchard of apples and peaches into a thriving wholesale business. Over the years, the farm transitioned to primarily wholesale commercial apple growing. The farm became Beekman Orchards Inc in 1963. Continuing family tradition, Calvin Beekman, along with his children Michael, Matthew, and Katherine, have expanded the farm operations to include processed apple products alongside the apples packaged for wholesale markets.

Your full range of wholesale apple products

Today, Beekman Orchards Inc offers not only packaged apples, but fresh cut apple slices, diced apples, and apple cider. Products sold are made from the thirteen varieties grown on the 125 acres of the orchard. All apples are grown, processed, packaged, and juiced-and-bottled at the farm.

Our apples and apple products are sold and distributed to many large and small food stores, restaurants, bakeries, orchards, and other shops throughout Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio. Many local churches have also used our apples in bake sales, selling apple pies and apple dumplings to support their communities.

The Beekman family takes pride in growing and processing high quality apple products. We hold a profound respect for the dedication and work ethic of the previous generation. It is our hope as our family tree continues to grow, we foster a dedication to the future, remain innovative, branch out, and continue the tradition of apple production in the Beekman Family.

Our Farm Stand

Please visit our seasonal farm market stand where we sell our apples, cider, and seasonally available gift and floral items.

Most years we open the farm stand the first week in May and stock a wide variety of hanging baskets and planters for Mother’s Day. You will also find unique hand-painted treasures in our gift area, all painted by a local artist.

There are assorted bedding plants available while the supply lasts.

Enjoy your summer flowers and please return to us in the fall for your autumn plantings, baking, and decorating.

Beginning the first week in September, we have a wide selection of mums, pumpkins, gourds, and cornstalks. Autumn is apple time! It is a wonderful time of year to make apple pie, dumplings, and homemade applesauce for your family gatherings. We have freshly picked apples coming into the stand as varieties become available. Apples are sold in both small quantities and by the bushel. Our fresh pressed cider is a local favorite for fall festivals and hayrides. We can accommodate large quantity orders by request.

Stop by and give our cider a try. Many customers have found it to be refreshing on its own, or great mixer for gatherings.

Where can you get a taste of Beekman apples and cider?
